What You'll Do

As an Expert Consultant/Project Leader (level depends on the candidate抯 profile and interview performance) affiliated to MSP practice with a focus on Financial Services Pricing, you will provide deep expertise and insights to clients and help building our Pricing topic. You will work closely with the European Pricing Topic Leader based in Amsterdam. You will work on all aspects of the pricing topic and projects across financial institutions & regions and collaborate with or lead BCG project teams with members of different backgrounds. In contact with clients on executive level, you will combine deep expertise with superior strategic thinking and help our clients to develop tailored state of the art pricing approaches, you will further develop our topic knowledge, contribute to business development initiatives and keep reinforcing your expertise on several dimensions, including: Pricing Strategy: Segmenting to align with business goals, competitive advantage and industry structure; Pricing Model: Leveraging pricing bases, packaging, and consumption models; developing analytical tools; building on consumer research and patterns Price Setting: Defining price structure; combining the customer value, competitive and economic lenses; aligning to different segments and elasticities Pricing Transformation: Redesigning processes; developing trainings and participating in implementation Pricing Capabilities: Developing BCG抯 Pricing Enablement Center tools, building up of pricing partner ecosystems

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

* Five to ten years of experience in Pricing related activities, with a present or past consulting experience * Good knowledge & understanding of banking products * Experience or strong interest in modeling and analytic software (advanced Excel skills, Alteryx; SaS or similar tools) and consumer research * Superior problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment * A proven project and people leader with exceptional drive and commitment striving for excellence * Highly self-driven, well-structured yet ?exible, able to think strategically / end-to-end * Outstanding academic track record from a leading university * Position preferably based in Amsterdam but open to other locations * Frequent business travelling required * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Proficiency in Dutch is an asset but certainly not a prerequisite)
