What You'll Do

Interested in addressing our client’s most strategic and difficult challenges? Ready to bring your Agile expertise to clients who are transforming their ways of working? Excited to work with a team of senior executives one day, and a scrum team the next to advance a transformation on all levels? We are looking for Agile consultants that are representing the BCG / Platinion brand, working at different levels and project portfolios, with deep exposure to our client senior executives.

In this role, you will work as part of a cross-functional joint BCG / client teams, collaborating across Agile teams, their managers, senior leaders, and shared services/control functions to change work routines and optimize flow. You will provide insights on Agile concepts, values, culture, behaviors and practices, and engage hands-on, supporting key Agile project roles to help clients teams implement or accelerate Agile transformations. 

Together with national and international clients you will define new ways of working based on Agile principles and actively steer the implementation of such initiatives. Using your sound Agile experience, understanding of business contexts, your technology background, and analytical and conceptual skills, you have the chance to make a big impact on enterprises during key digital transformations.

A manager is responsible for the execution and management of projects. They structure client projects and perform the required resource planning. Besides the functional guidance of project team members, they are also operationally involved in projects. They independently support our clients, present concepts and solutions to client decision makers, and agree on the next steps.

Typical tasks include the following:

  • Tailoring Agile frameworks and functional concepts for client implementation at divisional/unit level
  • Definition of change management strategies and implementation plans
  • Temporarily taking on Product Owner/Scrum Master roles in client teams or coaching client managers in these roles
  • Leadership, coaching and guidance for BCG / Platinion team members
  • Restructuring of organizations and core processes to facilitate Agile work principles
  • Designing Agile project management and quality assurance structures for large scale implementation
  • Act as a role model for the Agile way of working in your own work and as a leader

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Professional experience in the execution and management of operational and strategic IT implementation projects
   o Management experience as a responsible project leader, product owner or product                    manager of larger (client) teams
   o Experience in resource planning and employee management
   o Proven change management and transformation experience
   o Proven track record of delivering technology products in Agile organization
   o Experience in new business development
   o Certified in Scrum Alliance (CSM/CSPO/CSD/CSP), Scrum.org (PSM/PSPO/PSD),    
              SAFe Scaled Agilest, PMI-ACP desired but not required
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
  • Distinct client and results orientation
  • Team spirit, communication and presentation skills, and mental agility
  • A confident and convincing manner
  • Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel
  • Academic degree in mathematics/natural sciences, information technology, business management, or similar
