What You'll Do

We are looking for an expert on the topic of Big Data and Digital Data Platforms to further grow BCG’s thought leadership, capabilities and enablement. This an exciting opportunity for a seasoned data architect with the ability to consult clients on large scale and complex environments. 
  
Key responsibilities include
  • Primary focus is on providing data / technology / architecture expertise to clients across ANZ and Asia Pacific interested in building scalable capability to support the data related aspects of new technology models (e.g. Next-Gen Tech Function, governance, etc), incremental revenue (e.g. personalisation, targeted use cases, etc), or landscape simplification (e.g. cloud re-platforming, big data architecture delivery, etc). 
  • Secondary focus is on cross-industry enterprise architecture and systems design (e.g. enterprise architecture to support tech-enabled transformation efforts, general enterprise landscape simplification, redesigning servicing and support contracts). 
  • Drive the day-to-day execution of enablement and data/analytics consulting projects. 
  • Assessing client data and analytics maturity and make recommendations appropriate for business needs to drive continuous improvement and generate value. 
  • Oversee the successful delivery of client requirements within the case and scope of the engagement. 
  • Actively network, manage and influence multiple client and stakeholder relationship groups including senior executives. 

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Extensive experience in strategy, management and/or technology consulting. 
  • Proven ability in supporting clients to develop and describe their vision for value creation in data and analytics. 
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in architecting big data and analytics /streaming analytics solutions at enterprise scale. 
  • Experience in leading large analytics driven transformation programs using contemporary Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL, etc.) and Cloud (AWS, Azure, Ali Cloud, Google Cloud). 
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and hands on experience in architecting modern data platforms. 
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with Mathematics and Statistics or equivalent. 
  • Master’s degree or PHD will be highly regarded. 
  • Flexibility to travel across Australia and Asia Pacific.
