What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- Consultants from large system integrators with 5-7 years of SAP SCM related project experience. Typical levels (Senior) Manager, found in operating groups or business service lines rather than in SAP competence centers or service lines.
- Consultants from niche consultancies specializing in Business Case/Analysis phase in specific industry verticals.
- Consultants from Global SI firms such as Accenture, IBM and Cognizant preferred over Indian pure players.
- Client architects/program managers having a proven track record of project architecture and delivery roles
- Has held leading roles in enterprise/business transformation programs in one or more defined SAP project scenario’s (large SAP introduction, large SAP system design, large process change, carve out, merger & acquisition, post merger integration etc.) AND touching a combination of two to three module areas (e.g. supply chain, customer relationship management, finance)
- Leading roles include program manager, project manager, (lead) application/ enterprise architect, lead process analyst, etc.
- Project experience in multi-national multi-business unit multi-service line enterprise
- Proven experience in one or more target industries: Financial services, telecommunications, chemicals, automotive, consumer products, engineering and construction, metals and mining, industrial machinery and components
- Experience with valuation approaches of application/system landscape
- Experience with defining and translating business objectives and business (process) performance indicators into project business cases (approach, delivery models, etc.)
- Prefer candidates who have seen 2-3 end to end SAP lifecycle (from selection to design implement to stabilise)
- SCM module experience required
- Familiar with generic SAP System Integrator (SI) delivery processes and offshore delivery models
- Familiar with SI estimation approaches and models
- Proven experience in SAP standard process models in defined areas (Supply Chain required but experience with other modules desirable)
- Proven understanding of main SAPconfiguration drivers
- Other Requirements
- Strong academics from top-tier institutions (top 10% of class)
- Preferred: advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics or Mathematics - graduate of a leading engineering school would be a plus
- Excellent written and spoken English, other Asian languages would be of added benefit
- MBAs from top-tier programmes welcome to apply
