What You'll Do
- Gather and organize large and complex data assets
- Conduct relevant analyses (data exploration, optimization models, and statistical modeling)
- Build and execute solid analytics work plans, communicate findings in a structured way
- Manage priorities and deadlines, and foster team interactions with cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop client relationships with client counterpart
- Manage projects and teams
- Provide training, assistance, and support to team members
- Provide thought leadership on analytical approaches

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- Candidates will typically hold degrees in a field linked to operations research, applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning, computer science, or an equivalent and related data centric field
- Deep technical and data science expertise, acute strategic and analytical skills, ability to lead and persuade, drive and energy, and desire to work in a project based environment on strategic issues
- Strong record of professional accomplishment and leadership
- Travel – depending on position
- Experience in core analytics methods (one or more of the following):
- Mathematical optimization: e.g. linear programming, operations research, queueingtheory, mixed integer programming, metaheuristics, tabu search
- Statistics: e.g. variable reduction, segmentation/clustering techniques, logisticregression, linear regression, time series analysis, social network analysis
- Text mining, NLP & unstructured data analytics
- Simulation: e.g. MC, discrete event, agent-based
- Familiarity with core tools (one or more of the following):
- Data management: e.g. SQL, PostGRESql, NoSQL
- Optimization: e.g. CPLEX, GUROBI, AIMMS, Llamasoft, Matlab, NuOpt
- Simulation: e.g. Anylogic, ARENA, Java, iThink, Mason, FlexSim- Statistical and ML: e.g. R, Python, RapidMiner, SPSS- Programming and scripting: e.g. Python, C#, VBA, Perl, etc.- Data visualization: e.g. Tableau, R-Shiny, D3, GIS toolkits (e.g. ESRI, MapInfo, etc.)
- Experience in applied analytics in one or more of the following areas:
- Operations and supply chain: E.g. Supply chain network optimization, transportation modeling, production planning and scheduling, S&OP and integrated businessplanning, predictive maintenance
- Other: E.g. location analysis, sales and/or service and maintenance territoryanalysis, workforce scheduling and planning, pricing optimization, HR analytics
- Problem solving, conceptual thinking and decision making skills
- Ability to conceptualize business models, and develop scenarios to be tested
- Ability to work in a hypothesis-based, inductive environment
- Flexible, self-motivated, and proactive out-of-the-box critical thinker
- Ability to apply 80/20 approaches, in the context of complex analytical problems
- Work management, organization and planning
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, efficient timemanagement, and the ability to prioritize work effectively
