What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

Participate in ideation and brainstorming sessions to devise creative and disruptive digital solutions
Build digital apps, APIs and data solutions to drive digital transformation projects
Promote agile principles and methodology
Work on multiple client prototypes at the same time and facilitate client demos

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

Requirements:

2+ years professional software development experience within the enterprise or consumer market
Mid-Level to Expert within one or more of the following: ES6/ES5, React, React Native, Node, Angular, JQuery
Mid-Level to Expert within one or more of the following: Javascript, Python, Scala or Java
Very solid API skills (e.g. Express/Node, GraphQL/Relay, Flask, Jersey, Java Spring REST or WebApi2)
Hands-on RDBMS experience (data modeling, analysis, programming, stored procedures)
Solid CSS, motion design and usability experience
Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO Design with rock-solid programming skills
Proven success working in and promoting a rapidly changing, collaborative, and iterative product development environment
Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, combined with intellectual curiosity, and a desire and ability to "get things done" are essential
Agile Scrum development experience
Must be able to travel up to 80% to client sites as an engineering expert
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience: 1+ year(s) Agile development in a production environment at a startup or organization with 20+ employees

Nice-to-Have Experience:

Data science and visualization (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Drill, Tableau)
Predictive analytics and machine learning (scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Mahout, recommendation systems)
NoSQL databases and modeling (Cassandra & MongoDB)
Scaled apps in the cloud: Amazon AWS EC2, Google Compute Engine
iOS: Objective-C or Swift
Work experience in one or more of the following industries: FinTech, Insurance, Pharmaceutical, Health Care, Retail, Telcom, Luxury Brands
