Through People & Organization, BCG works with our clients — senior business executives— who value BCG’s strategic, fact-based, and impact-oriented approach supported by senior teams, rich benchmarking databases and analytical capabilities. We provide expertise to our clients across all industries through our capabilities in areas like Organization Design; Change Management; Shared Services and Support Functions; Culture, Purpose and Engagement; Leadership & Talent; and Agile Ways of Working.

Role Profile

We are looking for Consultants to join our People & Organization team in the expert track, with a special focus on POP related topics. They will lead or work as part of BCG teams in a wide range of challenging client engagements with some of the leading organizations globally.







General role & Responsibilities

The responsibilities will fall broadly into two areas:

  • Client Delivery (focus area)

    • Work jointly with BCG and high impact client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client on site

    • Work independently on select topics within the area of expertise

    • Support case teams, especially those with need for deep expertise and a hands-on approach

    • Contribute to the quality of the work, question results with sanity checks and with the project team

    • Educate and inform clients proactively about state of the art technologies, methodologies and tools and how it can bring value to their business and, in particular, their people/leadership capabilities

    • Support in presenting key findings to C-level executives

  • Topic and Practice Development

    • Contribute to the improvement of methodology, tools, enablement material and topic development on areas of expertise

    • Develop and contribute to BCG's intellectual capital - working on BCG knowledge content projects to develop new techniques and/or capture new ideas as well as casework experience

    • Contribute to BCGs Practice Area publications

Additionally, the following team management skills are required:
  • Own work streams/ modules, content and day-to-day client interactions

  • Support case teams, either as an individual contributor or as an advisor to the overall project

  • Ensure the quality of the work, and the relevance of the synthesis and recommendations

  • Challenge the work in progress and the results

  • Develop proposals from end to end around specific topics and participation in client proposals presentations

  • Contribute to the development of additional business beyond the delivery of recommendations on client engagements

Behavior and Culture

We help our clients define how people behave in organizations, both around others and when they are alone.


Our approach to culture is based on the understanding that how people act is a rational response to their contexts; there are always "good reasons" for why people behave the way they do. Therefore, our approach to change culture is to adjust the organizational context.

  • Simplify the organization structure—optimize spans, reduce layers etc.

  • Improve governance structures and processes, including IT/digital solutions

  • Hard-wire roles, responsibilities and decision rights

  • Analyze staff capabilities


We execute organization design programmes with speed and rigor with a focus on ensuring sustainable improvement with minimized disruption


Change Management

We work with our clients to design and execute their change management strategy by exclusively focusing on transformational initiatives and neglecting the enhancement of daily operations and routines. Our approach fully encompasses transformational, strategic and business as usual initiatives with change management needs.


We help organizations achieve sustainable change by focusing on the following areas:

Our Expert Consulting Track (ECT)

The Expert Consulting Track is vital to BCG’s ability to successfully meet our clients’ demand for deep expertise and advanced technical capabilities. Experts push the boundaries of their topic, deepening and extending BCG’s knowledge. They are driven by a passion to explore and innovate in their field. As part of our consulting cohort, experts work alongside our generalist and specialty consultants to form “one BCG team,” capable of delivering deep strategy and technical expertise. Experts come from diverse backgrounds, with expertise usually gained outside of BCG in either industry, academia, or specialized consulting.

Your Qualifications

Education and Qualifications

  • Masters, Doctor or MBA essential - preferably in management or business administration

  • Strong academics from top-tier institutions (top 15% of class)


Previous work experience

  • Minimum 5-6 years experience in HR, preferably in the Middle East 

  • Experienced professional in specialized consulting firm

  • Experience with project-based work

  • Proven track record of developing new content and know-how on people topics

  • Experience with staff/leadership assessments (interview-based assessment, psychometric tests, etc. ) is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Slide-writing skills

  • Able to build empathy within the firm and win the trust of the clients

  • Good business sense

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), an additional proficiency in Arabic is preferred
