What You'll Do
Financial Institutions Practice Area (FIPA) aims to be consultant of choice for leaders in the financial industry. We seek to achieve that goal by helping clients find their way amid the ever-evolving, ever-shifting competitive landscape. By focusing on the fundamental economics of their businesses and the underlying needs of their customers, we help banks, brokerages, asset managers and other financial- services organizations rethink their strategic assumptions, identify winning business propositions, and seize new opportunities in the expanding digital environment.
BCG is looking for Experienced Professionals to join our Istanbul team at the Project Leader level.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team in the day-to-day execution of consulting projects and ensuring successful delivery of client requirements within the scope of the engagement
- Execute high-quality analysis, providing insights for the Client
- Assist in the execution of the analysis of data and convert the output of analysis into practical recommendations
- Lead client interviews and presentations
- Prepare and present oral and written reports of case team findings to client management
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- Between 8-12 years of consulting or industry experience, with a strong focus on the practice of financial institutions
- Relevant experience related to strategy projects, commercial growth initiatives, cost optimization efforts, and transformations
- Experience leading teams of consultants, working closely together with Partners, and engaging with executive level client teams
- Expert communication and presentation skills. Ability to synthesize the team’s work into recommendations for presentation to clients, and deliver oral and written reports to client management
- MBA, or similar advanced degree in business administration, finance, or other preferred
- Strong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking. Ability to develop leading edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and long-term business strategies that maximize shareholder value
- Proven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships, and provide “thought leadership” to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements
- A solid track record of building strong client relationships with large organizations, as well as identifying opportunities to deepen those relationships and grow the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English, in addition to a strong presence, team spirit and leadership skills
- Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and willingness in possible extensive travel.
