What You'll Do
The Insurance practice is one of BCG’s fastest growing practices and serves four industry sectors: Life Insurance, Property & Casualty, Commercial & Reinsurance and Health, as well as Insurance brokerage firms. The members of the Insurance Team combine relevant regulatory, technical, and analytical know-how with the BCG core competencies: planning, steering, and strategy for top management. We help companies identify and develop growth opportunities that reshape the future of the Insurance industry.
BCG is looking for Experienced Professionals to join our Istanbul team at the Project Leader level, specifically for the Insurance Practice.
Responsibilities
- Own a project module, proposing activities and related next steps
- Execute high-quality analysis, providing insights for the Client
- Assist in the execution of the analysis of data and convert the output of analysis into practical recommendations
- Lead client interviews and presentations
- Prepare and present oral and written reports of case team findings to client management
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- Between 8-12 years of consulting or industry experience, with a strong focus on the practice of insurance.
- Relevant experience related to strategy projects, commercial growth initiatives, cost optimization efforts, and transformations.
- Experience leading teams of consultants, working closely together with Partners, and engaging with executive level client teams.
- Expert communication and presentation skills. Ability to synthesize the team’s work into recommendations for presentation to clients, and deliver oral and written reports to client management.
- MBA, or similar advanced degree in business administration, finance, or other preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking. Ability to develop leading edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and long-term business strategies that maximize shareholder value.
- Proven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships, and provide “thought leadership” to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements.
- A solid track record of building strong client relationships with large organizations, as well as identifying opportunities to deepen those relationships and grow the business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English, in addition to a strong presence, team spirit and leadership skills.
- Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and willingness in possible extensive travel.
