BCG’s consumer practice helps clients respond to industry disruption by redefining their channel strategies, transforming their organizations, and seizing competitive advantage. The practice serves clients across four main sectors - Consumer Products, Retail, Travel & Tourism, and Fashion & Luxury - and each of the four sectors covers a range of sub-industries and functional topics.

What You'll Do

Role Mission

BCG is seeking for under graduates willing to join its Consumer Goods and Retail practice. The candidate will be part of the team as a junior member, supporting the overall projects effort.

Main duties

o   Support in preparing and executing strategic consulting projects for Clients in the Consumer industry by

·       Processing statistical data, comparative analysis and analysis of possible correlations and distortions;

·       Analysing and modelling data sets;

·       Interpreting results of the analysis (i.e. sales, markdowns, …) and represent them

·       Interact with Clients by providing support and insight, while researching and recommending new opportunities;

·       Ensuring that all necessary documents for execution are drawn, ready and delivered;

·       Preparing reports by collecting and analyzing information and statistics.


What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

Key requirements

·       Bachelor graduated or in the first year of master in Management, Economics, Management Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Mathematical Engineering or Computer Engineering;

·       Available for travelling;

·       Fluency in Italian and English, other languages would be considered as a plus;

·       Strong logical, analytical and financial skills with outstanding number mindset;

·       Well-developed problem solving skills demonstrated through a constant “can-do” attitude;

·       Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel and Powerpoint at excellent level), the knowledge of Phyton would be considered as a plus.
