What You'll Do

As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for managing project teams comprised of consultants and associate consultants who design and develop innovative long-term business strategies for client corporations that maximize the return on the investment of shareholders. Project teams at BCG are responsible for advising clients on key strategic business issues, producing cutting-edge business models, and addressing specific problems and opportunities.  You will also play a key role in high-level client relationships and act as a content lead for proposals and other business development work.

Summary of main responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and maintain client relationships
  • Act as a key topic content lead for proposals or other business development work
  • Direct and supervise research activities to obtain relevant data and define client needs or problems
  • Execute strategic due diligence, product development studies and the development of change management plans
  • Oversee the analysis of data and the application of business principles and industrial organization to the development of feasible recommendations for the profitable growth of client companies
  • Prepare and present oral and written reports of case team findings to client management

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

We’re looking for exceptional talent from consulting or industry to join us. You would typically have:

  • At least 7 years of work experience at top level consumer companies or consulting firms, though candidates with excellent consumer backgrounds and 4-5 years of previous consulting experience would also be considered.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience related to travel and tourism topic, having worked on large travel transformation programs with an emphasis on key operational levers.
  • 3-4 years leading/playing core role in driving projects – owning the project process, content and day-to-day client interactions, especially within consumer/travel practice.
  • Experience in consulting and/or industry working on large retail transformation programs with an emphasis on key operational levers, including:Driven development of content, either directly or by providing guidance to the consulting team (for example, by sharing ideas, frameworks or providing input on research and analysis)
  • Have a strong consulting skill set: hypothesis-led problem solving, framing and communicating complex ideas, thinking strategically
