What You'll Do
A Project Leader has responsibility for the delivery of consulting projects, leading small but high impact teams of consultants to drive impact for our clients.
As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for managing project teams comprised of consultants and associate consultants who design and develop innovative long-term business strategies for client corporations that maximize the return on the investment of shareholders. Project leaders at BCG are responsible for advising clients on key strategic business issues, producing leading-edge business models, and addressing specific problems and opportunities.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and maintain client relationships
- Act as a key topic content lead for proposals or other business development work
- Direct and supervise research activities to obtain relevant data and define client needs or problems
- Execute strategic due diligence, product development studies and the development of change management plans
- Oversee the analysis of data and the application business principles and industrial organization to the development of feasible recommendations for the profitable growth of client companies
- Prepare and present oral and written reports of case team findings to client management
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
We’re looking for exceptional talent from consulting or industry to join us. You would typically:
- 5-7 years of experience working with a leading strategy consulting firm (focused on technology/digital initiatives) or in a tech start up leadership role, tech-role in a corporate, or “consulting-like” industry (e.g. digital strategy).
- 3-4 years leading/playing a core role in driving projects – owning the project process, content and day-to-day client interactions.
- Experience devising and implementing technology business strategies involving quantitative analysis, conceptualization and communication of strategic solutions.
- Driving development of the content, either directly or by providing guidance to the consulting team (for example, by sharing ideas, frameworks or providing input on research and analysis).
- Have a strong consulting skill set: hypothesis-led problem solving, framing and communicating complex ideas, thinking strategically
