What You'll Do

WHAT WE NEED:

BCG is looking for Senior Expert to lead our insurance analytics business and expert team of consultants. The ideal candidate will be an experienced executive who is well-established in the insurance industry with demonstrated impact in strategy consulting and advanced analytics. The ability to build meaningful, productive relationships—inside and outside of the firm—will be critical to success.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

In this unique role, you will shape BCG’s offering to insurance clients, informing our approach based on your experience and learnings within the industry. As a leader in the practice, you will build a team of similarly qualified experts who can solve complex client challenges, helping insurers to meet their customers’ evolving needs, reduce risk, increase efficiency, and explore new growth opportunities.

You will support project team execution, overseeing multiple client engagements, advising as necessary in workshops and/or high-level meetings. You will direct and supervise research activities to obtain relevant data and define client needs and challenges. Working alongside case team managers, you will contribute expertise, ensuring accurate analysis of data and feasible recommendations. You will also drive commercial growth by supporting colleagues in their business development activities, originating leads and acting as a key topic content lead for proposals or other business development work.

Expert consultants are vital to BCG’s ability to successfully meet our clients’ demand for deep expertise and advanced technical capabilities.  Our experts are driven by a passion to explore and innovate in their field. As part of our consulting cohort, they work alongside our generalist and specialty consultants to form “one BCG team,” capable of delivering deep strategy and technical expertise. Experts come from diverse backgrounds, with expertise usually gained outside of BCG in either industry, academia, or specialized consulting.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:

The Insurance practice is one of BCG’s fastest growing practices and serves four industry sectors: Life insurance, Property & Casualty, Commercial & Reinsurance and Health, as well as Insurance brokerage firms. We have a strong global network with over 200 senior staff members operating out of 44 offices worldwide. The members of the Insurance Team combine relevant regulatory, technical, and analytical know-how with the BCG core competencies: planning, steering, and strategy for top management. We help companies identify and develop growth opportunities that reshape the future of the Insurance industry.
