What You'll Do

Lead agile transformations for large enterprises by:

  • Drive engagements of cross-functional, joint BCG / client teams to transform organizations to agile ways of working
  • Manage project timelines, provide hands-on training and coaching on agile topics
  • Deliver key insights and ways of thinking about the new model, along with all other deliverables
  • Interact and engage with key junior and senior clients and ensuring seamless delivery and implementation of the transformation

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

You will have:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in industry or 5 years of a combination of industry and consulting (preferred)
    • Industry experience may include product management or agile development experience at technology start-up, software vendor, professional services organization, or IT system integrator among others
  • Experience leading and managing large, complex enterprise-level agile transformations, with expertise around specific issues that arise with agile in IT, and non-IT functions and / or scaling agile across the broader enterprise
    • Working knowledge of approaches ranging from frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS) to engineering practices (test-driven development) and DevOps
    • Coaching clients on a variety of digital topics such as product management, engineering culture, agile values and principals, agile leadership behaviors
    • Demonstrated agile way of thinking to oversee multiple aspects of an organization in a technical or non-technical function
  • Experience delivering large-scale reorganization projects and successful implementation including staffing and leadership development while taking a hands-on approach with clients
    • Experience in managing workshop/discussions with senior client
    • Passion for working with leaders and helping them develop new skills
  • Certified in Scrum Alliance (CSM/CSPO/CSD/CSP), Scrum.org (PSM/PSPO/PSD), SAFe Scaled Agilist, PMI-ACP is desired but not required
  • Strong technical and non-technical influencing abilities
  • Outstanding academic track record from a leading MBA or engineering school a plus
The Expert Career Track (ECT) is a valuable complement to the generalist track, and helps BCG to provide expertise depth that our generalist track does not cover or ordinarily develop. The Track enables individuals to bring value to BCG with significant operational or technical experience in a specific field, usually gained outside of BCG either in industry, academia or specialized consulting.
