Practice Area Profile
What You'll Do
Contribute to the Business Development of the i4.0 / Digital Manufacturing in the Americas
- Contribute to leads and proposals together with the partners of the Practice
- Build awareness for BCG i4.0 competence, as well as manufacturing capabilities in specific industries
- Contribute to the development of additional business beyond the delivery of recommendations on Client engagements
- Drive and coordinate activities of our Wichita iCO and broader iCO plan
Build NAMR Operations Center Expertise and increase BCG’s profile externally
- Improve methodology and tools
- Participate in key industry / subject matter forums, including presenting regularly on topics relevant to senior management
- Present at conferences, write papers, and contribute to marketing the content
Provide project execution and topic expertise in Digital Manufacturing, including:
- Work on projects with clients to improve their overall manufacturing operations
- Support workshops, synthesize results into recommendations for our clients
- Coach and develop BCG consultants and associates, and support clients during the implementation of identified recommendations
- Support the team on further business development activities by helping in developing sales offers, manage relationships with business partners, support in development of articles, marketing plan, events, etc.
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
A minimum of 10 years of experience combined in industry and consulting experience, with a focus on the following:
- More than three years Manufacturing experience (i.e. plant, operations or continuous improvement management) related work
- Expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies with a proven track record of implementation success (e.g., Augmented Reality in training, advanced analytics in predictive maintenance, components of the digital supply chain, robotics solutions, etc.)
- Graduate of a leading Business or Engineering School (Preferred)
- Team player with strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity and outstanding analytical skills
- Open to work in an international environment, abroad if needed
