What You'll Do
As a Project Leader/Principal, you will be responsible for managing project teams comprised of consultants and associate consultants who design and develop innovative long-term business strategies for client corporations that maximize the return on the investment of shareholders. Project teams at BCG are responsible for advising clients on key strategic business issues, producing leading-edge business models, and addressing specific problems and opportunities. You will also play a key role in high-level client relationships and act as a content lead for proposals and other business development work.
Specifically within digital and consumer, you will bring experience across the digital value chain, including overall digital strategy, and the application of digital to supply chain, marketing, sales and insights. This is not a “technical” role, but an understanding and application of digital concepts to the consumer value chain is a must.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, manage and maintain client relationships
- Act as a key topic content lead for proposals or other business development work
- Direct and supervise research activities to obtain relevant data and define client needs or problems
- Oversee the formulation of hypotheses for research and investigation and the advanced financial analysis of client, competitor, and industry data
- Execute strategic due diligence, product development studies and the development of change management plans
- Oversee the analysis of data and the application business principles and industrial organization to the development of feasible recommendations for the profitable growth of client companies
- Prepare and present oral and written reports of case team findings to client management
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- 3+ years post-graduate school consulting experience, preferably within Consumer
- Specific experience on digital projects
- Experience working at a digitally focused company or agency
- Knowledge of complex principles of financial analysis, business methodology and managerial thought
- Advanced business degree from a top-tier institution preferred
