We are looking for INTERNS, FRESH GRADUATES and YOUNG PROFESSIONALS to join our Budapest/Bucharest offices in 2023.

As a member of our consulting team, you’ll work alongside some of the world’s top minds on cases that reshape business, government, and society. You’ll collaborate on challenging projects with team members from many backgrounds and disciplines, increasing your understanding of complex business problems from diverse perspectives and developing new skills and experience to help you at every stage of your career—at BCG and beyond.

Consulting work is varied and rigorous, much of it performed at our client sites. Projects can vary in length, size, and location, depending on the client’s challenge. Because our clients operate all over the world, you may travel internationally.

If you are joining us directly from school or with a few years of experience, expect to spend time working across a wide range of clients and projects from helping to devise the integration strategy for a pharmaceutical merger to developing sustainable farming practices in emerging countries.

For more experienced professionals, or as your career advances, you’ll begin to specialize in one or more practice areas, perhaps as part of our expert consulting track for those with deep knowledge and skills in a particular discipline or industry. Every step of the way you will be guided by BCG mentors and world-class learning programs designed to meet your individual needs.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

Each application should meet our minimum academic requirements:

Excellent academic results
Final year of Master's or completed Master's, MBA, PHD degree for Full -Time positions
Ongoing Bachelor's (2nd and 3rd year) or 1st year Master's in case of Internship positions
Fluent Hungarian/ Romanian/ Serbian/ Slovenian/ Croatian language knowledge

In addition to academic records, we are looking for extensive extra-curricular activities to demonstrate evidence of impact and legacy, significant contribution, high level of commitment, initiative and responsibility.

We are also looking for an impressive record of work experience, be it business-related (banking, consulting, retail etc.) or other. We are seeking motivated individuals who can showcase a strong career trajectory and a high level of impact in the roles they have held.

What happens after the application?

You should expect to hear back from us shortly after the application deadlines.

If you are selected to start the selection process, the first step is completing an online case study. After the case study, there are two rounds of case interviews - with two separate interviews in the first round and two-to-three additional interviews in the second round.

Each interview is divided into three parts: personal background, analysis of a case study and an opportunity for the applicant to ask questions about us.

We will get back to each and every candidate with the outcome of their application, test and interview.
