Practice Area Profile
What You'll Do
- Lead/work cohesively with hybrid teams consisting of BCG’s strategy and digital experts on cybersecurity, strategy, digital risk, advanced analytics, innovation, and emerging technology
- Work directly with leadership teams, including facilitating board and senior management cybersecurity workshops
- Conduct cybersecurity maturity assessments including gap analysis and roadmap development
- Develop cybersecurity strategies, operating & governance models, and establish transformation programs for Industry, Public Sector and Not-For-Profit organisations
- Develop cyber risk management framework, including performing risk assessments and risk quantification
- Develop cyber risk and control frameworks, policies, standards and procedures
- Design/architect and implement cyber security solutions to protect clients’ technology
- Develop or contribute to our cybersecurity capability offerings and collateral
- Contribute to the DigitalBCG/Cybersecurity community of practice
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity consulting in a consulting firm, federal government and/or corporate environment
- Proven experience with, or extensive knowledge on some of the following: cybersecurity policy or strategy development, digital risk management, security assessments, implementing and running cybersecurity programs, cyber supply chain risk management/third party risk management, identity management, data protection, cyber threat management, privacy, cybersecurity workforce development, cybersecurity awareness and training methods, business resilience.
- Broad knowledge of cybersecurity technologies throughout acquisition lifecycle
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity or risk management frameworks, e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27000 family, ISM, PSPF, COBIT, COSO.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity for Cloud, Big Data, ICS and Mobile environments
- Knowledge and experience with industry cybersecurity regulatory environments
- Ability to write proposals, reports and develop client presentations
- Ability to present to senior management groups for both training and reporting purposes
- An active member in the cybersecurity community with a passion for presenting, developing, publishing articles and blogs
- Broad generalist digital/technology skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication, client facing and consulting skills
- Strategic mindset, presence and gravitas
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree preferably in a Cybersecurity, IT/Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline
- Relevant cyber security certification: CISSP, CISM, CRISC preferred but not essential
- Flexibility to travel within A/NZ and Asia Pacific region (once restrictions allow).
