Practice Area Profile
What You'll Do
- Work closely with Tribe Lead, Journey Owner, other BU/function stakeholders of the client to understand and drive alignment on the business strategy, goals, and objectives vs. the F2B customer journey digitisation
- Define overall direction of the product; works to identify and prioritize features to meet customer needs
- Prioritize backlog (incl. writing detailed user stories) and project scope
- Accept/reject all user stories delivered by the team
- Drive Scrum ceremonies
- Make trade-offs between scope, budget, timeline
- Regularly engage with the squads to offer feedback on work-in-progress, clarify requirements and answer questions
- Support Scrum team in identifying and removing obstacles putting on-time delivery at risk
- Prioritizes work through a well-organized backlog of user stories; develop and monitor budgeting and resourcing
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- Min 6 years of relevant experience with digital banking products (either from digital challenger bank, Techfin, Fintech or digital bank arm of banks)
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Banking, Business or related disciplines; or Computer science, data science
- Experience leading and managing high-performing case/project teams
- Experienced in digital banking product front to back; former Product Owner role
- Expertise specific to the product being owned (current account, credit card, personal loan, mobile app, eKYC, etc.)
- Project management and analytical skills
- Strong business and financial acumen & strategic mind-set
- Experience working with other business units to deliver change and able to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs
- Experience making decisions based on imperfect data
- Strategic mindset, presence and gravitas
- Flexibility to travel within SEA/Asia Pacific region (once restrictions allow).
