What You'll Do

Boston Consulting Group, in collaboration with DLeads (Donne Leader in sanità), is looking for students to join our Milan team as Interns.  

As a junior member of our Consulting Team, you will work alongside some of the world’s top minds on cases that reshape business, governments, and the society. You will collaborate on challenging projects, increasing your understanding of complex business problems and experiencing a steep learning curve, both professionally and personally.

This specific role, stemming from a broader collaboration with DLeads, is an opportunity to work on fostering women leadership in the Healthcare sector, creating the basis for better future scenarios starting from the analysis of the current data and information, working alongside with a dedicated Mentor.

The project ultimately aims to create a better knowledge base on the presence of women in the top and middle management in all areas of healthcare and life sciences, both public and private, and to analyze instruments to promote women leadership in these areas.


Main duties 

  • Development of a dashboard to track progress, set goals and monitor trends in the advancement of women in leadership roles within the HealthCare sector
  • Identification of systemic barriers surrounding the advancement of women and the ability to retain female talents up the ladder
  • Design of diversity, equity and inclusion corporate policies and Government recommendations to enable to build a more sustainable and resilient pipeline of talented women within the Healthcare sector
  • Support to the development of programs aimed at providing women with the skills, qualifications and opportunities needed to lead the challenges and companies of the future, focusing on: skills development, shifting leadership models; shaping culture through public narrative
  • Identification of concrete opportunities to support and act on advancement of women leadership within the Healthcare sector, leveraging the Italian “Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR)”


What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

    Qualifications required:

    • Enrolled in a Master degree in Healthcare Management, Economics and Social sciences, Social Policy / Public Administration…
    • Previous working experience will be considered a plus.  

    • Skills:
    • Strong logical and analytical skills with outstanding number mindset, with a proactive and creative attitude
    • Passionate about D&I topics and promotion of women empowerment
    • Curious and independent
    • Effective in working in a team and in dealing with senior managers
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint at excellent level); 
    • Fluency in Italian and English, other languages would be considered as a plus; 
    • Full-time availability;
