Practice Area Profile

Digital technologies are fundamentally reshaping both consumer demand and competitive dynamics at unprecedented rates within the consumer industry. BCG’s consumer practice helps clients respond to industry disruption by redefining their channel strategies, transforming their organizations, and seizing competitive advantage. The practice serves clients across four main sectors - Consumer Products, Retail, Travel & Tourism, and Fashion & Luxury - and each of the four sectors covers a range of sub-industries and functional topics.

What You'll Do

The Consumer Practice continues to grow fast and is now looking for one more Project Leader to join us. As a Project Leader you will be a core member of our practice working in Norway and the Nordics powered by an incredibly strong global experience base and pool of experts. You will collaborate on challenging projects with team members from many backgrounds, advising clients on a variety of topics

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Extensive experience in the Consumer Products and Retail sector related to complex strategy projects, commercial growth initiatives, cost optimization efforts, and large-scale digital transformations
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably as a management consultant, in supporting clients in the Consumer Products and Retail sector. Deep focus on marketing and sales is a plus
  • Experience with leading teams, working closely together with partners, and engaging with executive level client teams
  • Expert communication and presentation skills. Ability to synthesize the team’s work into recommendations for presentation to clients and deliver oral and written reports to client management
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial mindset with a high capacity for conceptual thinking. Ability to develop leading edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and long-term business strategies that maximize value
  • Willingness to travel internationally and to work remotely on client sites
  • Fluency in English required, Norwegian is a plus
LOCATION

When you join BCG’s Oslo office, you will work for the strategy consulting leader in Norway and at one of The Boston Consulting Group's most prominent offices. Founded in 1996, BCG in Oslo serve regional and international companies operating within several industries. The BCG office in Oslo is located on Henrik Ibsens gate 4, just a stroll away from the Royal Palace.
