What You'll Do
ROLE PROFILE
Our Operations practice is BCG's largest functional practice area, and we are now growing in the Nordics! We are therefore seeking outstanding candidates to join our consulting team in Oslo. However, our client work is global and international, hence travel could be expected.
Ideal candidates have passion for and expertise in operational improvement topics such as Supply Chain, manufacturing and/or services or Procurement across one or multiple industries. Experience with topics like advanced analytics or Industry / Services 4.0 related to operational improvement is highly relevant. They have worked in professional services or at a leading multinational company as well as in international team environments, with senior audiences.
As a Consultant in our practice, you will use your operations knowledge and experience to lead large and complex components of our projects. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their issues, build strategies for change, win buy-in for your recommendations, and collaborate with fellow BCGers to transform clients’ potential into performance.
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• 4-7 years of experience from either professional services (consulting) or from industry at a leading multinational company
• Line and/or project management experience
• Master’s degree from leading University with outstanding academic achievement
KEY COMPETENCES
• Supply Chain
• Procurement
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Services
• Digital / Industry 4.0 or advanced analytics in operations
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills – ideally with Big Data tools experience
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong presence & leadership skills
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
• Strong business sense

LOCATION
When you join BCG’s Oslo office, you will work for the strategy consulting leader in Norway and at one of The Boston Consulting Group's most prominent offices. Founded in 1996, BCG in Oslo serve regional and international companies operating within several industries. The BCG office in Oslo is located on Henrik Ibsens gate 4, just a stroll away from the Royal Palace.
