Practice Area Profile

BCG is supporting the world's largest principal investors & private equity (PIPE) firms with the full spectrum of services covering the entire value chain from transaction services to transformative profit improvement programs for portfolio companies to strategy and operations work for the funds themselves. We are organized into six distinct sectors: Private Equity, Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs), Pension Funds, Hedge Funds, Family Offices and Infrastructure & Real Estate.

What You'll Do

As a Project Leader within BCG’s Principal Investors and Private Equity practice area, you will be a core member of the Oslo based PIPE team, working closely with Nordic and European PIPE colleagues. You will be part of a team delivering due diligence and portfolio company value creation projects for leading private equity clients. You will lead and collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds and expertise relevant to the assets we advise on.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Strong academics from top-tier institution
  • 3-6 years experience with a leading strategy consulting firm (focused on private equity, strategy and/or corporate finance), investment firm/fund or investment bank
  • Experience working in / leading teams solving complex client problems through formulating research and/or analytical approaches involving quantitative analyses, conceptualisation and communication of insights and recommendations
  • Fluency in English required, Norwegian is a plus


LOCATION

When you join BCG’s Oslo office, you will work for the strategy consulting leader in Norway and at one of The Boston Consulting Group's most prominent offices. Founded in 1996, BCG in Oslo serve regional and international companies operating within several industries. The BCG office in Oslo is located on Henrik Ibsens gate 4, just a stroll away from the Royal Palace.
