What You'll Do

DigitalBCG’s Data & Digital Platforms business is growing rapidly and we are aggressively building our team.

We are looking for Data and Digital Platform Experts to design, build, and operate world-class technology platforms that help companies harness the power of digital solutions and transform their business.

At DigitalBCG you will drive engagements of cross-functional, joint BCG / client teams to transform organizations to agile ways of working.

You will be responsible for shaping key insights and thinking about the new model, motivating and managing the BCG team, engaging key junior and senior clients and ensuring seamless delivery and implementation of the transformation.

You will set the high-level structure for how to deliver the project, manage to tight timelines and client deliverables, provide hands-on training and coaching on agile concepts and deliver the key enablers needed to address and deliver the project. The extent to which a company has made the transition to a digital organization determines its ability to effectively field data, extrapolate useful information, and act on it in real-time. By combining your digital and data analytics expertise with battle-tested transformation experience, you will empower companies to make that leap.

Our Expert Consulting Track (ECT)

The Expert Consulting Track (ECT) is vital to BCG’s ability to successfully meet our clients’ demand for deep expertise and advanced technical capabilities. Experts deliver next-level impact for BCG's most complex and cutting-edge client challenges. Experts focus on developing BCG's thought leadership, commercial capabilities, and intellectual property assets; and their work is essential to our delivery model. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to bring the ‘best of BCG’ to our clients, Experts come from diverse backgrounds, with expertise often gained outside of BCG in industry, academia, or specialized consulting.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

We’re looking for exceptional talent from consulting or industry to join us. You would typically have:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in leading and managing large, complex enterprise-level technology transformations, with expertise around specific issues that arise with modernizing technology and data architectures (data lakes, in-memory databases, containers, microservices, and how these relate to legacy architectures, common ERP architecture.

• Overall, a demonstrated ability to translate analytics and digital strategy into data, technology, and operating model implications

• An outstanding academic track record

• A proven project and people leader with exceptional drive and commitment striving for excellence

• Willingness to travel regionally (Western Europe, South America and Africa) and to work remotely on client sites

• Excellent communication and persuasion skills

We are particularly looking on the ERP area, at someone experienced:

• in delivering large-scale transformation projects and successful ERP (SAP 4/HANA) implementation including staffing and leadership development while taking a hands-on approach with clients. Knowledge on FI/CO, SD, MM modules required.

• in creating the ERP (SAP) business case who understands the value drivers and cost drivers, and has been responsible/accountable for achieving them

• in large ERP derisking programs, someone that understands how to dissect and resequence large SAP implementation cases

• in liaising between client and team and liaise business with technology

• in challenging the existing technology, pointing at pain points (eg whether data architecture frameworks are correct or not)

• in proof-reading and challenging a test strategy with a critical eye

• in turn-around projects and driving structure programs, turning a hazardous program into a successful one
