What You'll Do
As a Senior IT Architect, you will work closely with case team members to assess and coach our clients' IT teams, define IT strategies, architecture solutions and apply your technical know-how and understanding of business contexts. You will be responsible for owning the delivery for a specific project “module” and help develop technical concepts for that “module”. You will coach other project members and help lead other consultants in their own work stream when possible.
As part of our BCG Platinion consulting team, you would work on a variety of technology topics, applying your architectural consulting skills to strategic technology questions. You will be supported by an extensive training curriculum (the same programme as all BCG consultants), plus technology-specific training and mentoring to help you build your skills.
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
• 6-8 years’ experience in software development and SAP architecture, technical project management, digital delivery or technology consulting
• Designing transformation projects: definition of the data architecture strategy, definition of the implementation strateg
• Defining target architectures that include SAP solutions (S/4HANA, C/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, BW/4HANA, SAP Data Hub, Leonardo…)
• You have already worked as a developer and master the JavaScript and SQL (incl. XML & JSON) programming languages. You are deeply knowledgeable in SAP systems such as SAPHANA, SAP Cloud Platform… and their architecture.
• Certifications such as HANA implementation, SAP Cloud Platform and/or HANA modelling would be a plus.
• As a key player who will take part early on in the development of solutions, you have a strong innovation capacity and high client orientation.
• You are result- and experiment-oriented, curious and open-minded, and you will perform regular watch on new uses.
• Frame transformation projects: definition of the data architecture strategy, the definition of the implementation strategy
• Developing MVPs to demonstrate the value of our recommendations
• De-risking projects
• Ensuring technological watch (SAP Roadmap)
