Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives that question the status quo and spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting, technology and design, and corporate and digital ventures. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, fueled by the goal of helping our clients thrive and enabling them to make the world a better place.

What You'll Do

BCG is looking for an Organizational Design and Talent Expert to help our clients reimagine their organizations to prepare for a more digital and agile future while improving the skill-readiness and culture on the ground today. You will analyze and deeply understand our client organizations today and their strategy for the future to recommend and implement new organizational and talent models. Partnering closely with client teams, you will enable them to successfully design, plan for, and implement the new model, delivering on a set of clearly defined outcomes – e.g., a better talent strategy, a more finely-tuned HR function, a more effective hire-to-retire process with enhanced digital capabilities, and/or a more cost efficient model.

We are currently looking for individuals at the Consultant or Project Leader level who have experience in and strong passion for organization design, human resources, and talent strategy. This is an Expert Career Track role. Expert Career Track consultants are vital to BCG’s ability to successfully meet our clients’ demand for deep expertise and advanced technical capabilities. Expert Consultants are given end-to-end responsibility for large and complex “modules” within a BCG project, and Expert Project Leaders may lead the high-impact teams to drive results for our clients. Working alongside our traditional consultants, they help to bring the ‘best of BCG’ to our clients. Experts come from diverse backgrounds, with expertise often gained in industry, academia, or specialized consulting.

  • 2+ years of industry and/or consulting experience (preferred) with focus on people and organizational issues. 5+ years and consulting team leadership experience required for Project Leader level.
  • Adept problem-solving skills to address the challenges our clients face and creative ideas for integrating new ways of working into pragmatic organizational models
  • Experience contributing to design and delivery of mid to large scale reorganization projects through to successful implementation; understanding of the impact of digital and new ways of working on traditional organizational models
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to structure and analyze organizational data, and to develop and deliver methodologies to support effective decision making when embarking on large scale organization redesign efforts
  • Interpersonal skills to partner with executive management teams as they implement a new vision and passion for enabling leaders to drive change within organizations
  • Strong academics; advanced degree preferred

Who You'll Work With
