What You'll Do

As a Lead Product Manager in BCG X team,

You will be responsible for organizing & facilitating ideation and incubation sessions to uncover creative and disruptive digital solutions. This will result in providing the client with an actionable roadmap for the client to execute themselves or up to MVP collaboratively with BCG.
For clients seeking support to build and deliver, you will lead delivery teams in building a range of products & services that could include responsive digital apps, APIs and data solutions to drive digital transformation projects.
A key part of this will be taking ownership of business outcomes, product vision, prioritization, product backlogs (complete ownership or partnering with client Product Owner), eliciting requirements from key stakeholders and developing user journeys and roadmaps. Following product deployment and adoption you will encourage continuous improvement among your stakeholders (CTO, CIO level).
You will lead and drive the Digital Product and Services functions end-to-end (establish culture, establish sustainable pace for team's work, maintain pipeline of products and projects, ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of product and projects, partner with business consultants, product managers, data scientists, designers, engineers and provide weekly status reports).
You will be likely work on multiple prototypes at the same time as well as facilitate client demos. Though much of your role will be focused on technology products, you will also deliver service change, process change and development of new customer experiences. You will need to confidently communicate with business stakeholders and sponsors in order to be successful.
You are an intellectually curious builder, who is passionate about deriving insights on business transformation, and to roll the sleeves on hands-on project delivery activities. As such, you will lead one business workstream with clients to design and build the new capabilities for omni-channel transformation.
You'll lead technical part of project and progress with minimal supervision, including providing technical development advice, cooperating with architect to propose architecture design suggestions, and preparing communications to report back to client and internal leadership.
You'll develop practical recommendations and contribute to team discussions on implications of analysis, identifying implementation challenges.
You’ll also be in charge of system implementation of the project, partnering with internal team and external vendors, and monitor the overall project delivery.
You will know the path forward isn’t always well-defined. You are comfortable and confident working through the unknown.
You will be well-versed in agile methodologies and use your expertise to strategically tackle difficult challenges and implement change.
You will be an interdisciplinary team player who seeks alignment and establish relationships ranging from cross-functional stakeholder groups to existing teams.
You will be a creative thinker who apply your deep digital architecture expertise to envision novel design patterns for the next generation of technology solutions.
You will have a sophisticated understanding of digital architecture, acting as a viable resource on teams as both a hands-on practitioner and subject matter expert.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

Bachelor's in information technology, business administration, computer science, business management, or system controls & engineering or a related field (Master’s is a plus)
Minimum of 9 years of professional experience in solution architect role. Deep knowledge of architecture design, system integration and product development.
Familiar with digital marketing relevant solutions like CDP, SCRM, CMS.
Experience in deployment and development CRM system, Fashion and Luxury industries experience is preferred.
Familiar with business architecture design and experience in implementing Business Middle Platform (业务中台).
Practical skills to help client to establish the right technology development direction and provide relevant suggestions, has PM experiences is preferred.
Extensive technical expertise and knowledge of:
- Omnichannel architecture
- API and Microservices architecture
- Cloud architecture
- Data architecture (e.g., Data Lake)
Experience in agile engineering and tooling support
Ability to identify opportunities for growth and subsequently take a leadership role in exploring new ideas
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and the local office language(s)
Willingness to travel to work with clients and BCG teams. At times, this role involves significant travel to client sites. The amount of travel will depend on client needs and nature of project
