What You'll Do

We are currently looking for someone at the Project Leader level who will bring experience and passion in those areas as well as experience from a (strategic) consulting or in-house advisory role, and who will continue to leverage, expand, and train others on that knowledge.

Ideal candidates will have experience managing client relationships either in consulting or marketing operations. Topic expertise including Campaign to Cash, sales enablement, sales automation, customer success via relevant sales technologies (e.g. CRM, Salesforce, etc.), BI, analytic & recommendation technologies (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, CRM Analytics, Python), an understanding of core B2B Sales models and digital engagement channels (e.g. Email, eCommerce, Virtual, etc.) and execution of these across highly cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Product, Offers, Success etc.), will be the drivers of your strategic impact within BCG’s Marketing, Sales & Pricing practice and our B2B Sales team.


You will drive the execution of B2B Sales-related strategy and transformation assignments:

  • Collaborate with BCG and client teams, bringing B2B Sales and complex Salesforce strategy and delivery expertise to the team.
  • Contribute to teams in accelerating B2B Sales & Salesforce activation with our clients by providing expert understanding of marketing  optimization from design to implementation.
  • Ensure high quality of work and relevance of the strategic and operational recommendations.
  • Independently execute and ensure the quality of our work; reorient the work approach and analyses as needed.
  • Enable client's cross-functional in-house and agency teams to accelerate marketing, sales, and demand generation outcome.
  • Help  and accelerate key use cases with B2B Sales technologies and tactics that we can bring to client organizations.


You will grow B2B Sales and Salesforce within BCG and deepen BCG’s footprint externally:

  • Transform B2B Sales and Salesforce expertise within BCG into client impact and help coach and grow the team.
  • Drive the development and improvement of methodology and tools.
  • Develop and contribute to BCG's intellectual capital - work on BCG knowledge content projects to develop new techniques and/or capture new ideas.
  • Contribute to BCG perspectives which are shared with alumni and client.


You will support Business Development of B2B Sales opportunities:

  • Develop and present client proposals and drive related discussions.
  • Contribute to the development of additional business beyond the delivery of recommendations on client engagements.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Advanced work experience in the B2B Sales space, from a (strategy) consulting firm or an industry/tech player or both.
  • Proven experience advising clients and/or internal stakeholders, managing client engagements and guiding and coaching project teams.
  • Exposure to tactics that are common in B2B Marketing (lead generation, demand generation, CRM, web analytics, landing page design, SEO).
  • Exposure to relevant technology platforms in the B2B Sales space (e.g. Salesforce, Gainsight, NLP vendors, and key Salesforce ISVs).
  • Experience in optimizing client CRM across Marketing, Sales and Success teams.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and interpretation through a business and economic lens.
  • Team spirit and leadership skills, in addition to problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English.

You will work with senior leaders from both BCG and clients to transform our clients’ organizations. You will typically lead a team of BCG Associates and Consultants, and work with digital specialists, such as engineers, designers and data scientists, to deliver game-changing outcomes for our clients.
