What You'll Do

As a Senior Product Designer, you will work in BCG teams that partner with leading companies to shift mindsets, shape agendas, and create value through digital transformation programs. The work you do every day—uncovering deep insights and reimagining business models—will enable our clients to compete today and accelerate into the digital future. You’ll leverage your prior experience and build your comprehensive consulting skillset and digital expertise by working on a mix of digital and traditional BCG client cases across a range of topics:

  • Craftmanship: A love of making and creating. Prototyping and product design of both high-level Proof of Concepts and detailed design; utilising tools such as, but not limited to, Figma, Sketch, Webflow, Adobe CC

  • Technical Expertise: Able to collaborate with development teams to make sound feasibility assessments and move concepts into delivery, including scoping Minimal Viable Products and delivering experiments.

  • Customer Centricity: Reinventing the customer experience, leveraging journey maps, deep customer empathy, and data to create digital products, redesign services, and create market-leading experiences. 

  • Customer Research & Strategy: Leveraging the designer skill set to complete customer research, strategically frame insights, and infuse the voice of the customer with business strategy.

  • Collaborative design and development: Operate within a cross-functional team, facilitate workshops, and lead divergent thinking to reimagine digital experiences, services, and products.

  • Sound experience in agile working environments: Building ongoing organisational change capabilities, and helping clients transform into digital enterprises that continue to develop and innovate with speed, at scale.
 

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • 4+ years' experience in a strategy, management, or technology consultancy; design agency and/or industry experience
  • Outstanding portfolio of diverse range of projects and work demonstrating: Digital product development; Human-centered design capabilities; Design thinking + agile experimentation approach to problem solving; Creative synthesis and storytelling skills 
  • Experience across the end-to-end design process – From research (quantitative and qualitative), future visioning, divergent exploration, conceptual development, through to product development and deployment
  • Experience working in a corporate setting, working on large scale transformation programs, and driving progressive change towards a target state
  • Breadth across IT/digital strategy and transformation
  • Experience in no code and low code environments highly desirable
  • Thrive in a hypothesis-based environment and ability to frame strategic challenges from a digital/tech/design perspective
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability and conceptual thinking
  • Excellent communication, story lining, client facing and consulting skills
  • Creative and strategic mindset, presence, and gravitas
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in an IT or Design related discipline
  • Flexibility to travel within A/NZ and Asia Pacific region (once restrictions allow).
