Practice Area Profile
What You'll Do
- Lead and prepare training sessions in core areas with overall very high quality in class delivery, and act as mentor for learning batches
- Inspire students to persevere through the challenges of learning complex subjects
- Guide students through development of a real-world projects that will showcase their abilities and align project scope with clients
- Lead new content development to ensure relevant and market driven curriculum & contribute your own expertise to a deep and broad global curriculum
- Researching content and industry trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing
- Mentoring and coaching junior team members and external consultants, as appropriate
- Trainers will support lead trainers in content & business development
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree preferably in a field such as environmental engineering, climate change science, earth / environmental science, renewable energy, climate policy or conservation
- Minimum 4 years’ of experience at Trainer level, and minimum 7 years’ of experience as lead trainer in Sustainability or Environment-related topics with past training or facilitation experience
- Consulting and client facing experience in the context of transformation is preferred
- Very strong communication skills
- Preferred but not required: Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA)/Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) Certification from Institute of Adult Learning (IAL)
