What You'll Do
- End-to-end strategy planning and implementation from client digital strategy development, Digital consulting, IT roadmap development, and architecture design that contributes to strategy and issue resolution, and solution design
- Lead innovative plan conceptualization and running of workshops, combining the latest industry trends with BCG assets while building relationships with client company CxOs (BCG asset examples: Data & Digital platform consulting, digital marketing consulting, Agile coaching, etc.)
- Assume responsibility for project execution, confirming member assignment, project validity, risks and quality, and lead internal and external members to ensure project success.
- Able to structurally organize business issues quickly during the new business creation and plan conceptualization (far upstream) processes, and can plan out digital measures
- Able to translate business requirements into technology solutions, skilled in mapping out grand digital architecture design for organizations as a whole, while setting direction from a companywide perspective and scope of complex system interlinking
- Capable of moving projects forward and leading internal and external team members during the project execution phase while controlling risks and quality
- Adapt in logical thinking, with a high self-driven ability to think strategically and act autonomously
- Capable of leading experts, with a high sensitivity to and a deep understanding of the latest technology
- A desire to expand own field of activity to the fullest in the future without being limited by the confines of consultant, SE role, etc.
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- 5+ years experience leading a small team in digital strategy development consulting and plan conceptualization, IT roadmap creation, and architecture development
- Experience working as a project manager, overseeing large-scale system upstream processes through system design, development and installation
- Experience leading projects utilizing architecture frameworks and modeling
- Deep hands-on expertise in cutting-edge technologies including cloud-native architecture, data foundation for advanced data analytics & AI, and agile way of working
- Experience in Financial (including insurance) or retail sector, especially on their core IT systems will be highly preferred
- Experience in leading appropriate communication (documentation and presentation) with client management teams when carrying out the above-such projects
- Experience in new business creation and plan conceptualization utilizing digital tools at major companies in South Korea as well as global and venture companies
- Experience leading system design and installation using the latest technology (Data & AI, IoT, Cloud, Agile, digital marketing, etc.)
- Fluent written and spoken Korean/English language skills are highly regarded
