What You'll Do
- Design and deliver end-to-end ERP solutions, from requirement analysis to solution design to implementation support.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, BCG partners, Platinion experts, and project teams to understand the business context, challenges, and objectives Identify the best-fit solution architecture for the client’s needs, considering various factors such as functionality, performance, scalability, security, integration, etc.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to the project team throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring adherence to quality standards, best practices, and industry norms.
- Review and validate the deliverables produced by the project team, such as functional specifications, technical specifications, test cases, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or risks that may arise during the implementation process.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders on the project status, progress, issues, and outcomes.
- Provide thought leadership and expertise on ERP trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Support business development activities by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and presenting solutions to potential clients.
- Contribute to practice building activities by developing knowledge assets, conducting trainings, and mentoring junior team members.
- Act as the main contact for key aspects and concerns while being part of the ERP/SCM cycles.
- Challenge SI/client technical counterparts on various levers – Time and cost adherence, technical depth of proposed customization complexity, and overall roadmap planning.
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science or related field
- 15+ years of experience in ERP consulting or related field, with at least 10 years of experience in designing and delivering large-scale ERP solutions
- Hands-on experience in implementing ERP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday HCM, etc.
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of ERP modules such as PP/MM/SD/FICO/PM/PS in SAP S/4HANA or equivalent in other ERP solutions
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices, including data, application, infrastructure, digital, IoT, Industry 4.0, visualization, etc.
- Excellent technical skills, including programming, database, API, microservices, etc.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner · Excellent problem-solving skills (analytical and creative), with the ability to generate innovative solutions
- Excellent leadership skills (collaborative and influential), with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders · Ability to travel extensively as required by client engagements
- Experience in working with senior client counterparts like CTO/CIO/CDIO/CDOs.
- Deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts such as Microservices, API integration.
- Industry expertise in at least one of the sectors – Discrete (Auto/Industrial goods), Mill and Mining, Process (Oil and Gas/Pharma/Life Sciences), or Retail is mandatory
