What You'll Do

Our Center for CFO Excellence helps CFOs transform their finance function operating models to achieve higher efficiency and effectiveness, unleash the power of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, orchestrate company-wide transformations to drive the corporate value and sustainability agenda, and more.
  • As Expert Consultant, you will partner with finance leaders to transform their operating models and processes, revitalize finance mindsets of business partnering, making people and collaboration models ready for the future—all building on state-of-the-art strategies rooted in lean digitization. You will be a core member of the Corporate Finance & Strategy practice (CFS) and Center for CFO Excellence (CFOx) working alongside some of the world’s top minds in the industry. You will also significantly contribute to the development of our CFO excellence topic and support our ambitious growth targets. Your role will also entail the following:
  • Driving CFO excellence projects with a transformative mindset (e.g., lean finance projects, agile finance projects, CFO strategy and vision projects, or larger finance transformations), especially in Europe
  • Supporting project teams globally with your CFO excellence expertise, including business development efforts such as client meetings and conferences (e.g., CFO Roundtable)
  • Develop CFO excellence IP such as building products and tools and writing thought-leadership articles (e.g., ESG, future of finance)

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Over 3 years of work experience (industry and/or consulting) with a deep focus in finance across topics such as financial effectiveness, CFO advisory, process and policy, technology, operations, organizational structure and strategy, and/or transformation.
  • Ideally, you have spent at least 2 years at a leading consulting firm working in fields such as finance transformation, CFO advisory, finance processes/policy optimization, or ERP transformation.
  • You have gained hands-on experience in large-scale finance transformation programs, ideally with strong international exposure.
  • You have knowledge in finance technology, organization, policies, and processes, as well as good understanding for the (future) role of the CFO.
  • You think strategically and end-to-end and are ready to identify and tackle the big questions of finance leaders.
  • You are ready to embrace our hybrid working models and varying degrees of travel, depending on project locations.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, in addition to strong presence, team spirit, and leadership skills.
