C&S brings together more than 550 experts covering the full range of sustainability topics, including biodiversity, circular economy, decarbonization, sustainable agriculture, transition financing, water management, and other ESG topics—across all sectors—to support our clients around the world.

What You'll Do

As a Project Leader or Principal, you will be integrated into a BCG team and leverage your deep expertise on projects that reshape businesses. 
You will be given end-to-end responsibility for large and complex “modules” within a BCG project and may lead small but high-impact teams to drive results for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, and win buy-in for your recommendations, while also collaborating with colleagues on complex client issues. Your expertise will be valued by senior clients and you will help build and contribute to BCG’s intellectual capital while spending significant time leading and executing case work in climate and sustainable topics, including but not limited to net-zero strategy, climate transformation, energy transition, sustainable growth, green finance, sustainable supply-chain, etc.

This role will provide you with the opportunity for fast-tracked professional development through access to BCG’s global network of experts and intellectual property, best practice learning and development, and some of the world’s leading organizations as clients.


  • Playing a role in the growth of Climate and Sustainability work at BCG through case execution, business development, intellectual property creation and internal capability building
  • Identifying, winning and supporting delivery of Climate and Sustainability related projects/ programs with private, public and not-for-profit sector clients.
  • Establishing and maintaining senior client relationships
  • Contributing to BCG's Climate and Sustainability strategy
  • Continuously developing BCG's knowledge, capabilities and intellectual property
  • Building internal affiliation and capability on Climate and Sustainability
  • Building connections to regional and global Climate and Sustainability experts

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Individuals with 8+ years of relevant work experience in your area of expertise, and the ability to leverage expertise to develop proprietary IP and insights, who are recognized experts by senior executives.
  • Ability to develop leading edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and long-term business strategies that maximize financial and non-financial value
  • Ability to thrive in a hypothesis-based environment where inductive rather than deductive reasoning is the norm
  • Strong people skills including building empathy, strong relationships, and trust
  • Experience leading and managing teams, providing "thought leadership"
  • Proven ability to build and maintain senior relationships, influencing executives' agendas and supporting critical strategic decisions
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications from a top tier institution(s)
