Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives that question the status quo and spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting, technology and design, and corporate and digital ventures. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, fueled by the goal of helping our clients thrive and enabling them to make the world a better place.

Digital BCG

BCG has a long history of driving growth by embracing innovation and new ways of thinking.  Through DigitalBCG, we bring together a diverse mix of consultants and digital specialists to ensure that we are supporting our clients throughout their digital transformation journeys. We work with our clients to fully understand the impact of digital on their business and set priorities that will transform their vision into value. Whether it be developing new technologies to support their core business, making better use of their data, or pursuing entirely new sources of revenue, our aim is to achieve radical improvements in productivity, flexibility, and speed. We are innovating how our clients are using artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, internet of things, personalization, blockchain technologies, and more to gain competitive advantage.

DigitalBCG encompasses a broad set of data, digital, and technology capabilities from BCG consulting teams and practices, along with our business units such as BCG Digital Ventures, BCG Platinion, and BCG X.

Practice Area Profile

Through People & Organization, BCG works with our clients — senior business executives— who value BCG’s strategic, fact-based, and impact-oriented approach supported by senior teams, rich benchmarking databases and analytical capabilities. We provide expertise to our clients across all industries through our capabilities in areas like Organization Design; Change Management; Shared Services and Support Functions; Culture, Purpose and Engagement; Leadership & Talent; and Agile Ways of Working.

What You'll Do

We draw on our network of more than 6,000 experts, including those from our specialty businesses BCG GAMMA, BCG Platinion, and BCG Digital Ventures, as each unique situation demands. Because we are not an IT-service provider, we operate with tech neutrality and bring no conflicts of interest to the table as we help clients evaluate and select emerging technologies.

You will work as part of BCG teams in a wide range of challenging client engagements with some of the leading firms globally. You will advise our clients on how to discover unique sources of value and translate project findings into actionable recommendations to address their biggest challenges and execute their business in new ways that deliver competitive advantage and bottom-line results. The responsibilities of this role include:
  • Direct Client Engagement and Support: together with the People & Organization team (POP), you will translate project findings into actionable business recommendations for the client
  • Proposal Development Support: performing specific analyses and deploy state-of-the-art strategic digital transformation concepts and put them into the client’s business context. You will drive the client proposal development by assisting in the creation of materials and participating in the selling process. As an Expert, you will lead research plans and outline BCG’s capabilities in the POP domain
  • Vendor Management: advise BCG’s project teams on how to best select and manage external vendors and help the broader POP team continuously validate/improve external relationships
  • Overall contribution to the development of POP intellectual capital for publication and/or internal BCG use (e.g., emerging trends): you will contribute to broaden and deepen the knowledge base of the firm improving BCG’s proprietary frameworks, methodologies & tools and developing knowledge of generalist consultants. You will develop state of the art tools and play a pivotal role in the growth of POP through case execution, client development, and intellectual property & product creation.
It takes more than technology to reach this destination. We are seeking people who can challenge old assumptions, organize functions with a digital mindset, create new ways of working to support that, and change the way people think, work, and lead.
