What You'll Do
At BCG Platinion you will work alongside a bold, energetic and collaborative team. You will evaluate and coach our clients' technology teams, define technology strategies, architecture solutions and help us design the future. You will develop and grow by being exposed to new and complex challenges daily. Together with our clients, you will develop superior digital and technology concepts and architecture solutions as well as support technical implementations actively and on site, applying your sound Data technical know-how, your understanding of business contexts, and your analytical and conceptual skills.
You will be expected to provide your expertise and leverage BCG frameworks and methodologies to assess clients as-is data strategy, governance, quality, and tooling. In addition, you will propose target solutions, with its strengths and caveats, data migration approaches and costing of the overall data platforms.
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
· 6-8 years’ experience in data strategy, technical project management, digital delivery or technology consulting
· Management of work packages/modules in critical IT implementation projects
· Data architecture, code reviews & performance of technical proofs of concept
· Analysis of complex IT application landscapes, optimization of development processes
· Design of data platforms and pipelines, experience on AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud
· Platform implementation experience (e.g. Apache Hadoop - Kafka - Storm and Spark, Cassandra, MongoDB, Elastic search and others)
· Hands on experience with relation MPP and non MPP databases
· Definition of data quality & consistency processes including data quality control and monitoring KPIs
· Knowledge of Data integration and processing tools like DataStage, Informatica, Data Factory, etc
· General knowledge of data storage, query, processing and exposition technologies and trade-offs
· Experience in the design and implementation of D&A operation scaling process framework (DataOps and MLOps), in order to ensure the productivity, reliability and security of a Data platform.
· Proven experience designing Data Mesh architecture models
· Fluent English and Spanish
