What You'll Do

As a part of BCG’s X Delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in bridging technology and strategy. You will collaborate with premier consulting teams around the world, applying your data engineering expertise across a variety of ambitious and ground-breaking international projects. You will be instrumental in advancing BCG's Consulting and BCG X teams by providing critical data engineering development insights and speeding up project execution. 

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

Technical Skills - Knowledge and Experience with:
  • Unix-based command line & development tools
  • Version control (e.g. Git)
  • Flask, FastAPI, Django or NodeJS (BACKEND)
  • Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • CI/CD tools (CircleCI, Jenkins, Github Actions, etc.)
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, etc.)
  • TypeScript
  • Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's / Master's in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
  • Experience in configuration management, automation, CI-CD, infrastructure as code experience in a commercial setup specifically services or consulting organization
  • Additional weightage for contributions made to open-source projects, blogs, forums etc. in relevant technologies
Core attributes:
  • Skilled in CI/CD, automation, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) including containerization and serverless functions.
  • Experienced in managing cloud infrastructure, standardizing development environments, and automating processes for improved efficiency and security.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem resolution, with a continuous learning mindset towards new technologies focused on DevOps principles.
  • Leads engagements, integrates with teams, and establishes credibility with stakeholders through expertise in DevOps.
  • Communicates insights effectively, ensuring confidentiality and influencing best practices.
  • Builds relationships to secure project work, guides juniors, and contributes to knowledge sharing and technical training.
  • Strong in solution development with a hands-on approach in DevOps and problem-solving skills, able to provide technical advice and codify knowledge.
