What You'll Do
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- At least 08 years’ experience in working with technology preferably on solutions architecture and implementation for a data & analytics consulting environment
- Experience around database modelling and design, data architecture, data integration & migration, API ecosystems, data governance as well as data protection & security.
- Ability to advise on strategic data requirements of an enterprise, how it translates into a data architecture and how it fits into the overall IT architecture.
- General knowledge of database and analytics technologies available in the Brazilian market (Latin America is a plus) and the key trade-offs of their adoption.
- Platform and technology implementation experience for some (but not limited to) of the following: Hadoop, Databricks, Redshift, Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch, Storm, data services at main cloud services providers and products from traditional data & analytics providers.
- Previous experience with data capabilities present in ERP, Marketing, Sales & Service platforms is a plus.
- Formal studies or previous experience in financial services, insurance, retail, consumer goods, industrial goods or telecommunications are a plus.
- Overview of common development methods and tools DevOps practices and Continuous Improvement
- Approaches to managing Architectural debt, Architecture governance and evolution in practice
- Micro services topologies, including operational concerns such as resiliency, observability, discovery and routing, security etc.
- Experience around data integration & migration, data governance, data mining, data visualization, database modelling in an agile delivery-based environment.
- Technical architecture, code reviews & performance of technical proofs of concepts
- Data lake experience on AWS and Azure
- Extensive experience in the assessment of IT target architectures in an enterprise environment, component technologies, and service-oriented architectures
- University degree with above-average academic performance in a mathematical-scientific field, information technology, or business administration. Specializations and MBAs are a plus.
- Fluent English
