What You'll Do
- Keep key inputs updated (GDP, population growth, etc) and tested
- Integrate available country, regional and data accumulators supply/demand figures on consistent basis
- Have comprehensive views on oil, gas, coal, renewables, and where relevant, key minerals for the energy transition
- Sectoral and geographic breakdowns of all energies
- Understand assumptions and results of long-term energy supply/demand balances released by external organizations
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- 5+ years macro energy supply and demand modeling consulting and/or industry experience
- Knowledge of key topics in one or more of: macro energy supply and demand figures, cross model interpretations, oil, gas, coal, renewables, energy transition
- Knowledge of emerging regulatory expectations for climate risk management capabilities
- Experience in modeling the impact of climate risk on material financial and non-financial risks, and opportunities
- Strong academics from a top-tier institution
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex industry concepts in non-technical terms
