What You'll Do
- Leading consulting engagements focused on end-to-end supply chain traceability and transparency
- Actively monitoring the evolving regulatory landscape around traceability and creating clear perspective on implications for companies (e.g., Lieferkettengesetz, USDA traceability regulations)
- Defining and implementing comprehensive end-to-end traceability solutions through the development of traceability priorities and strategies, technology road mapping and tool and vendor selection, along with deploying these solutions collaboratively with our clients
- Actively monitoring the tool and supplier ecosystem around end-to-end traceability and transparency; recommending and developing partnerships for BCG with external providers and supporting internal product development teams in developing and refining digital solutions
- Diagnosing end-to-end traceability and transparency risks and opportunities in our clients’ value chain
- Developing BCG’s thought leadership for policy makers, public sector agencies, corporate leaders, and cross-industry alliances to define, finance, and implement traceability and transparency solutions that benefit all industry participants
- Integrating with our broader Climate & Sustainability and sector teams to identify risks and opportunities for key industry sectors (e.g., consumer goods, fashion, healthcare)
- Working jointly with BCG and client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client on-site

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- 5+ years supply chain traceability consulting and/or industry experience
- Knowledge of key topics related to end-to-end supply chain traceability, including one or more of: defining solutions via technology roadmap creation, diagnosing risks and opportunities in clients’ value chain, vendor selection, etc.
- Ability to develop leading edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and long-term business strategies that maximize shareholder value
- As appropriate based on tenure, proven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships, and provide “thought leadership” to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements. A combination of management and “hands on” delivery experience is critical
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex industry concepts in non-technical terms
