What You'll Do
- Performing research on regulatory landscape, software solutions, etc to build BCG expertise on baseline, EF, reporting, and disclosure expertise
- Understanding how to deploy CO2 AI Starter software to generate high-level emissions baseline in ~1-4 weeks and serve as a resource for client teams during deployment (e.g., advise on EF choices)
- Working jointly with BCG and client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client on-site to help our clients set and advance their sustainability agenda
- Supporting CO2 AI discussion with client teams and act as expert and commercial engine
- Working with an Associate Director to support core regional MDPs in their drive of CO2 AI and overall baseline positioning
Our Expert Consulting Track (ECT)
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- 5+ years sustainability consulting and/or industry experience
- Knowledge of key topics in one or more of: Carbon accounting, life cycle assessment, emissions baselining, net zero target
- Familiarity with emissions terminology (e.g., Scope 1/2/3), calculation methodologies (e.g., GHG Protocol) and regulations in their region (e.g., SEC climate disclosure)
- Ability to understand both the climate and financial considerations in the transition to net-zero
- As appropriate based on tenure, proven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships, and provide “thought leadership” to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements. A combination of management and “hands on” delivery experience is critical
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex industry concepts in non-technical terms
- Familiarity with Power Point is a plus
