What You'll Do
As a Principal Engineer, you will work closely with clients to understand their issues, define digital strategies, architecture & engineering solutions, win buy-in for your recommendations, and collaborate with BCG colleagues to transform client potential into performance. You will solve technology and usability challenges on a daily basis and be responsible for building an engineering center of excellence within BCG Platinion and within our clients. You will lead cross discipline engineering teams in large, complex enterprise environments and drive operational and client service excellence. You will drive the engineering function end-to-end: establish culture, develop talent, ensure employee satisfaction, provide direction, establish sustainable pace for team’s work, and ensure on-—time delivery of product and projects. You will help your teams flourish through thought leadership, team mentoring, business development and clients will seek your advice on business issues that extend beyond the immediate scope of your project work.
As part of our BCG Platinion consulting team, you would work on a variety of technology topics, applying your engineering consulting skills to strategic technology challenges. You’ll be supported by an extensive training curriculum (the same programme as all BCG consultants), plus technology-specific training and mentoring to build your skills.
